Our mind is divided into Conscious and Unconscious mind with a Critical Filter separating the two. Whatever we see, conceive, and perceive through the day our conscious mind passes it on via the critical filter to our sub-conscious mind whenever we are asleep. This critical filter decides what to share with the sub-conscious mind for storage and what to discard. Our sub-conscious stores these downloads in different folders – joy, sadness, anxiety, aggression, etc. When similar situations arise, we react according to the area triggered within our sub-conscious to safeguard ourselves.

Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis is not a state of deep sleep but an induction of a trance-like condition. When someone is hypnotised, they are actually in an enhanced state of awareness totally and completely in charge of themselves. Their conscious mind is suppressed, and the subconscious revealed.
